Musculoskeletal & complimentary Therapies

Diane Cornthwaite is our centre manager as well as running Pendle Animal Therapies, a mobile musculoskeletal service for equine and agricultural clients. With over 30 years of experience in the equine industry Diane is on hand to provide the musculoskeletal therapy that is included as standard during your horses stay with us. This helps us to get the ultimate results for your horse in terms of performance enhancement and postural correction during their hydrotherapy sessions.

Diane is your first point of contact when arranging for your horse to visit the centre and can assist and advise you with creating the right combination of services to ensure your goals for your horse become reality during their stay.

Pine Veterinary Physiotherapy is proudly run by Veterinary Physiotherapist, Megan Pine BSc (Hons), PGDip, MIRVAP. Megan is available for one off physiotherapy sessions during your horses stay or can be a more integral part of your horse's rehabilitation whether this is working closely with the hydro therapists to monitor and assist progress during your horses stay or developing a plan with you for your horse's continued rehabilitation once they return home from their stay with us. Megan also runs practical educational courses for both horse and dog owners from the centre, the details of the next courses running are available on our upcoming events page.

Cumbrian Osteopathy is run by Niki Matthews BSc Ost (Hons), BMAS, BHSAI Cert Ed Accredited Coach. Niki is a Human, Equine and Canine Osteopath, she runs clinic days from the centre for both horses and dogs, the next clinic details are available on our upcoming events page.

We can also arrange for your horse to have osteopathic therapy during their stay with us or Niki can be contacted directly to arrange a home visit, Niki has a special interest in Equine and Human partnerships, offering unique Horse and Rider Postural Assessments and Lessons. She covers Cumbria, Lancashire and surrounding areas.
